The Board of Commissioners for the Housing Authority of the City of Fort Lauderdale is authorized to include five members. The Mayor of the City of Fort Lauderdale appoints each member to serve a four-year term. The main responsibility of the Board of Commissioners includes creating a vision and direction for the Housing Authority and approving policies and procedures.
